NBD had sponsored a live entertainment Rock ‘n Roll concert at the Madinat Theatre. The concert had music of Buddy Holly, Cliff Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley and other legends.

NBD was the exclusive sponsor of ‘Leyli & Majnun’ Iranian theatrical play presented by Pari Saberi held at the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre under the patronage of H.E Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan.

NBD participated at the 5th Annual Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2007 held at Dubai Media City.

NBD is the main sponsor of the Carmen Cantero show held at Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

It is one of Spain's best choreographed and varied show in which all the Spanish, folk and falmenco dance varieties are performed.

Under the patronage of General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and under the Honorary Chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the 3rd edition of the Dubai International Film Festival took place at Madinat Jumeirah, NBD was one of the gold sponsors of the festival.

NBD has sponsored the 2nd Grand Gourmet Summit at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.





During the month of Oct		 NBD sponsored The Middle East’s first 3D animated series “FREEJ”.

FREEJ is the tale of four old national women living in a secluded neighborhood in modern day Dubai. The show’s main characters; Um Saeed, Um Saloom, Um Allawi and Um Khammas try to live a peaceful life in the midst of the ever-expanding city around them, but the city’s boom unveils new social issues every day that they would have to tackle solve in their own simple way. For those four old women, there is no issue too hard to crack with a good cup of coffee at Um Saeed’s house.
