What is the method of sending applications?
National Bank of Dubai only accepts applications through the Internet. Most communication will be carried out by e-mail.

What documents should I send along with my application?
It is not essential for you to attach anything to your application, you will only need to provide copies of passport, certificates etc. at the final interview stage or as and when required.

Is it necessary to have banking experience to apply to the National Bank of Dubai?
Whilst some roles require Banking experience, for general roles, we certainly consider other relevant backgrounds.


What happens to my details if I am unsuccessful?
If your application is unsuccessful, the Human Resources Department will keep your details on file for six months for future opportunities.

Can I apply again for other vacancies?
You can only re-apply after 6 months of sending your previous application.

What attestations do my certificates require?
Each candidate seeking employment in the UAE should be aware that all expatriates are required to have attested certificates. The attestations needs to be from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in the origin country.  In addition they will need further attestation from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dubai.

Should I send original certificates?
The Bank only needs to see original certificates after an offer has been made and accepted.

Do you have any graduate or high school programs for expatriates?
We have no programs for expatriates at these levels.  All expatriates are considered on individual merit for positions that are vacant.

Do you accept only UAE National Applications?
At National Bank of Dubai we have a Central Bank mandate to meet Emiratisation target numbers.  As a Bank wherever possible we will give preference to a UAE National, however, we still seek applications from high performing expatriates.

How can I get an update on my application?
With each application you will receive an automated response outlining the process, this confirms that you should assume that if you have not been contacted for interview within 4 weeks your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.

No update will be given verbally; you will be contacted by a member of the Human Resources Department only if you are being invited for an interview.
